Hello, and thank you for supporting Magpie Pedals and getting yourself one of my effect pedals! Please feel free to use it with guitar, bass, synths, vocals or anything in between.
The pedal uses 9VDC power (2.1mm jack: center-negative).
Controls:
The top “M” knob is your MIX control. From dry only, to introducing delay, to slight boost/overdriving of the delay lines.
The center “Triangle” knob is your delay-time control. It works just like any regular time control, with the added function of setting the range of the big Circle pressure sensor.
The bottom “Circle” knob is your delay Repeats/Feedback control. It controls the amount of delay repeats and can also feedback if you max it fully clockwise.
On top of that it also controls the big Triangle pressure sensor. Dial it back and the sensor will make the pedal behave pretty broken. It will start to bitcrush and get sort of radio hi-passy and noisy. If you dial it all the way back the sensor will just cut the delay signal completely.
But going clockwise and the pedal will sing like no other pedal with some huge droning feedback.
The big “CIRCLE SENSOR” is a pressure sensitive time control. The harder you press the longer the delay time. Control the range with the knob. To far and the time will be longer than the PT2399 can handle (which is amazingly lofi). Create your own vibratos, tap it quickly from time to time to blip in time, or just go completely nuts with it!
The big ““TRIANGLE SENSOR” is a pressure sensitive feedback drone. Pressing it will make the pedal start droning and singing. You can control that with how hard you press it. It is however NOT simply controlling a natural delay feedback. It’s a lot more foam.
A byproduct of this is that if you dial back the feedback control (Circle knob) you get a ton of extra lofi goodness. And of course combining pressure on both the CIRCLE and TRIANGLE Sensors will get you straight to wherever you did not know you wanted to go right now!
